Parehua - The Venue

The Venue

We've booked a lovely place on the outskirts of Martinborough in the Wairarapa region called Parehua. It's between 60 and 90 minutes away from Wellington over the Rimutaka Hills. As well as the reception on the Saturday (28th), we'll be there from the Friday evening to the Monday morning so it could well be worth planning for a long weekend....

As per the previous page, we would recommend booking accommodation as soon as possible. Parehua has a number of deluxe cottages that are available but you need to be quick as Martinborough has 5 weddings going on that weekend. The Parehua cottages are lovely and are all equipped with the usual Sky TV, lounge and kitchen area, etc with nice views of the gardens. The venue is lovely and the accommodation is amazing (check out the website above). If this isn't your bag then don't worry, there are plenty of alternatives in and around Martinborough, some of which we have set up links to below.

Parehua itself has a tennis court, swimming pool and great relaxing gardens (we should do their PR). They also have bikes available for hire so you can ride around Martinborough. If you fancy staying at Parehua, if you mention the wedding they should give you half price on the third night - please let us know if not.

We'll be doing a barbeque on the Sunday so we'll be around for the weekend. Anyway, if you have any questions then please let us know.
